Scassa: "A top 10 finish at Imola would be great"
The Italian rider looking forward to the Italian challenge.
EVO rider Luca Scassa (Team Pedercini Kawasaki) is ready to tackle his home round, which will kick start tomorrow at Imola's Autodromo Enzo e Dino Ferrari. The 30 year old from Arezzo is almost back to full fitness after the hip injury sustained during official testing at Phillip Island last February, so he is hoping to do well this weekend aboard his ZX-10R.
"It's always great to be where you want to be" said Scassa "and it's good to be back on the bigger bikes, after one year in World Supersport. The Team Pedercini is like a family for me. […] Nobody would like to start the season with a broken hip, that's for sure, but fortunately I had one and a half month break to recover from the injury. The bone is between 85% and 90% OK now, the problem is about the muscles but I think this weekend a top-10 finish would be great."
